- April 1st, SPC's Honors Biology Club would like to invite you to their 1st annual Science Poster Symposium from 6pm-8pm on the Clearwater campus in the new Ethics and Social Science building, room ES-104. Program: Biology students who have been involved with undergraduate research, literature reviews, or other academic projects have been selected to present posters describing their subject of study. Also, Biology Program instructors will display their own professional research. Be sure to attend!
- April 3rd, SPC's Spring Fling Quad Event from 12-2pm on the Clearwater campus. Club advertisement, food, and games. Volunteers needed to promote SAC during this time whether it is for 1 hour or 2 hours. Send us an email if you are interested in volunteering or have ideas and can create promo.
- April 4th, Reef Monitoring Inc hosts "State of The Reefs II" from 7:30pm-9:30pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the Clearwater Campus. Program: SPC Marine Science students will present their research, Fish and Wildlife Conservation CCommission's, Biologist, Angela Collins presents Goliath Grouper Research, and the Pinellas County Dept. of Environment and Infrastructure's Charles Magio will present Pinellas Counties Artificial Reef Program. Free to attend and open to the publci so bring family and friends.
- April 20th, on Honeymoon Island an Earth Day event takes place where clubs get to host a booth. More details to be added.
- April 22nd, Earth Day at SPC. The Engineering Club, Science Adventurers, and Honors will host this event and are renting Dr. R.E. Cycler a robot that not only speaks to you but recycles cans right before your eyes! Check him out: http://youtu.be/jxvnQIElrh4 Volunteers are needed to cover at least a 1 hour shift to promote the club.
