Students experienced the history of NASA by attending the visitor center, taking a bus tour to see the Saturn V rocket, and ultimately getting an amazing behind the seen look at the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). In addition students witnessed the IMAX film "Space Station 3-D" that was filmed by 25 astronauts and cosmonauts and narrated by Tom Cruise, taking them on an incredible cinematic journey of discovery from planet Earth to the newest star in the sky – the International Space Station.
Members of the Science Adventurers Club and the Engineering Club took a road trip to the Kennedy Space Center located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
